Happy Spring! 

There are a lot of really great events coming up in the next few weeks!Please add them to your calendar and if you are able please look out for ways to volunteer. These events are made possible by our amazing volunteers!

The Gray’s Woods Elementary PTO invites you to the annual Fun Fair!

Join us Friday, May 8th, from 6-8pm, for carnival games, a bounce house obstacle course, balloon animals, kids raffle prizes, and more!

This is our last FUNdraiser of the year, so we’d love for you to join us at this great event to help raise money for our school!

Cost of entry tickets per child (ages 3 and up):

• $5 (includes 5 kids raffle tickets)
• $10 (includes 10 kids raffle tickets)

Again this year, we’re offering online ticketing ahead of the event to make entry into the Fun Fair faster. To purchase your tickets in advance, go to  https://tickets.signupgenius.com/#/wizard/org/org_o4/events/evt_1lw. Tickets can also be purchased in-person during the event. (Cash preferred since cell service is spotty.)

Don’t forget about the additional FUNtivites that will be available for purchase:

• Dunk Tank with special guests. A fan favorite! Cost is $1 per throw.

• Silent Auction of gift baskets donated by families of each classroom. (Winners should plan to be present when bidding ends.)

• Food Trucks!

Teacher appreciation week at GWE is May 11- May 15th! 

The PTO has a lot of fun events planned to celebrate our teachers and all they do each and every day! Please find a sign up below for ways to help contribute. We are also taking donations to help support the activities that we have planned for our amazing teachers! 

1. Contribute with a donation! Every contribution helps us put together a week that truly honors our incredible staff. Donations can be made via PayPal using the QR code below.
2. Help us build the Constellation of Appreciation! Students (and parents) are invited to decorate stars with notes or drawings for any staff who made this year a stellar one. Please cut out the completed stars and
return them to the front office or to your child's homeroom no later than Friday, May 8. Extra stars will be available in the main office for those who really want to let their gratitude shine - or simply recreate more at home!
3. Volunteer your time! Keep watch for a volunteer sign up to help out with the week's events. We need all hands
on deck to make this mission a success.

Many of you have probably heard your child talk about the school garden. It is a beautiful addition to GWE that provides students an opportunity to extend their thinking beyond the classroom. Whether it’s planting seeds, weeding or making salsa, the students all enjoy being in our outdoor garden.

To help with supplies and maintenance of our school garden, we are excited to be partnering with Ruppert Landscaping (formerly Scott’s Landscaping) for a Mulch Fundraiser!

All proceeds will go towards the garden fund. We want to make getting ready for spring easier on you! 

Each yard is $32.00. Ruppert’s will handle all deliveries for just
$65. Simply let us know how much mulch you need, and the rest will be taken care of!
Worried about the delivery fee?! Find a neighbor to share the cost with! Ruppert’s has generously agreed to separate your order and deliver accordingly IF you are in the same neighborhood! (The combined total cannot exceed 9 yards.)
